Deborah J.
Nash, M.D., a native of New Carlisle, graduated from Ohio
State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology, then from the
OSU College of Medicine in 1978. She completed a three-year family
practice residency at Mount Carmel Medicine Center in Columbus, Ohio
and is board certified by the American Academy of Family Practice.
Dr. Nash has been in private practice in Troy for over 24 years, the
last 15 of which have been at Upper Valley Family Care, Inc. She
has also practiced during those years of service in New Carlisle,
Piqua, and Pleasant Hill. In addition to general family medicine,
Dr. Nash has special interests in bioequivalent hormone replacement
therapy (“natural” hormone treatment) for men and women, functional
medicine, heavy metal toxicology, and treatment for ADD/ADHD and
autism.
Kelly Borchers, D.C., a native of
Fort Loramie, Ohio, has a bachelor’s degree in human biology and
graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in Saint Louis,
Missouri in 2002. Since graduating, she has been practicing family
based Chiropractic in Troy, Ohio. Dr. Borchers practices several
techniques including Diversified, Cox Flexion-Distraction,
Activator, Thompson, and Active Release Technique. These techniques
have been used to improve conditions such as headaches, migraines,
sciatica, carpel tunnel and neck and back pain. A much lighter
technique is applied for younger patients who experience colic,
reflux, chronic ear infections, asthma, and bed wetting. Currently,
she is studying Craniosacral Therapy and Meridian Response Technique
(MRT) and is making plans to incorporate these techniques into her
practice. |
