As the name
implies, Valley Health Center Integrative Medicine provides an
integrative approach to patient health care including traditional
medicine,
chiropractic treatment and other proven complementary approaches.
Appointments
Office
hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 6 pm and Saturdays
mornings. Dr. Nash will see patients from 8:00 am to 4 pm on Monday
and Wednesday, 8:00 am to 2 pm on Tuesday, 1:00 to 6:00 pm on
Thursday, and most Saturdays. Dr. Borchers will see patients from
noon to 6 pm Monday and Wednesday, noon to 5 pm on Friday, and 9:00
to 11:00 am on Saturday. For non-emergency hospital admissions, you
may select the hospital of your choice. Dr. Scott Swabb, will
continue to see Dr. Nash's patients at Upper Valley Medical Center.
Prescription Refills
Please review your medications prior to your
visit. Dr. Nash will be glad to refill appropriate medications
during your visit. For prescription refills not obtained during your
visit, there will be a $10 charge. The fee will cover the office
time required to process your request; review current medications,
determine correct dosage, call the pharmacy, and update records. If
you have not been seen recently for the condition requiring the
medication, an office visit may be necessary in order to renew your
prescription.
Emergency Care
In a
severe situation, call 911 or go directly to your local hospital
emergency department or an urgent care facility. When you call (937)
667-2222 you will have the following options: During office hours
you may speak to a staff member or leave a message. When the office
is closed you may leave a recorded message and a staff member will
contact you when the office reopens. When appropriate, a doctor will
be in touch with you directly or through an office assistant, giving
you medical advice. In an emergency situation, you may reach the
doctor through our regular office number, (936) 667-2222. A taped
message will guide you in emergency paging procedures.
Nutritional Support and Homeopathic
Remedies
Although we will not be
prescribing homeopathic medicine at this time, our goal is to
provide appropriate methods of support and care for each of your
medical concerns. For your convenience, we plan to continue
to carry dietary supplements as well as homeopathic remedies
prescribed by former practitioners at Valley Health Center. Please
give us advanced notice so we are able to meet your needs.
